BARRACKS-CLASSROOM DISMANTLED
One of the three Navy barracks which has served as a University of Scranton classroom building is being dismantled. A modern classroom building will take its place. The old building, which also housed a cafeteria, will be moved in sections to Mountaintop, where it will be assembled to house St. Jude's High School and cafeteria. The University recently conducted a fund drive for the building and to complete payments on a library and student center which are currently under construction.
