Gothic Textualis
Gothic Textualis script is an evolution of Protogothic. It is characterized by having narrow and vertical letterforms with short ascenders and descenders. It emphasizes height over width. The Textualis form is the most calligraphic version of gothic with letters composed of many pen lifts. It was often used for formal liturgical manuscripts and Books of Hours.
