French Leaf from a Breviary ca. 1300-1325

Gothic script is characterized by fusions, clubbed feet, left tilting text, and close lettering. There are both uncial and vertical “d’s: and open and closed “a’s”. Book hand took longer to write, but the results are more precise and there is more attention to detail.
