About the Authors
Peter Burke is a 2022 graduate of the University of Scranton where he triple majored in History, Theology and Religious Studies, and Philosophy. He was also a member of the Special Jesuit Liberal Arts (SJLA) Honors Program. He is currently a student at Cornell Law School in the class of 2025. He is a lifelong, proud Scrantonian.
Dr. Adam Pratt, PhD is an associate Professor of History at the University of Scranton and graduate of Clemson University (BA) and Louisiana State University (MA, PhD). He recently published a book through the University of Georgia Press titled “Toward Cherokee Removal: Land, Violence, and the White Man’s Chance.” He served as mentor on this project.
