Multicultural Welcome Reception
August 26, 1993, Velma Cotton an Admissions Counselor, specifically the Multicultural Recruitment made the effort to sned a letter to Father Panuska. In this letter, Cotton is explaining the event in which is created to help the students of color during that time mingle with others. The letter is also an invitation to the President of the University sharing the hope that he will attend said welcome reception. The event was to be held in the Heritage Room of the library, which is now just referred to as the 5th floor.
