Fort Matanzas National Monument

Fort Matanzas is a Spanish Fort that was completed in 1742. Fort Matanzas National Monument was designated a United States National Monument on October 15th, 1924.

Castillo de San Marcos National Monument

The Castillo de San Marcos is the oldest masonry fort in the continental United States. It is located in St. Augustine, Florida on the Matanzas Bay. The fort was declared a National Monument in 1924.
